After several years living in Victoria and Toronto, and numerous travels abroad, I found myself drawn back to the Cowichan Valley. It seems there is truly no better place to be. As it happens four generations of my family were right: it is a great place to live! The Valley has such variety and flavour, and I’m proud to show every corner of it to my clients.

I have a BA in Philosophy from the University of Victoria and a Diploma in Equine Massage Therapy (Yes, people really do massage horses!) from the D’AL School in London Ontario. I also have extensive business management experience, including several years as the Equestrian Program Director at Queen Margaret’s School and the continuing operation of my Equine Massage Therapy business. My real estate partnership with my sister, Shannon Roome, is the perfect way for me to apply my skills in a field which I feel well-suited for.

When not working hard for my clients, I like spending time with my family, riding, skiing and boating. I enjoy seeking out all that this area has to offer and sharing it with my friends and clients. Culture, beauty and great people make living and working in the Cowichan Valley a pleasure and an adventure.
